Montgomery County police responded to a report of an aggravated assault in Wheaton yesterday afternoon. The assault was reported in the 2400 block of Reedie Drive at 4:45 PM Thursday. According to police, a suspect armed with a knife attempted to stab an individual. Officers successfully apprehended the suspect, who was not identified as of this writing.
