Envirobarrassment: Biggest industrial pollution regulation violator is in MoCo Council's backyard
Even while clearcutting forests for the Purple Line and campaign donors' housing developments, the Montgomery County Council touts themselves as environmental warriors. Embarrassingly, the WSSC has tagged a business not far from the Council's notorious lair in Takoma Park as the only industrial polluter to not comply with federal and WSSC regulations in Montgomery County last year.

I'm glad that we live in a jurisdiction where all but one of our thousands of local business are in compliance with clean water regulations!
ReplyDeleteI think the WSSC is strictly referring to large industrial customers in this report.
Delete"not far from the Council's notorious lair in Takoma Park"
ReplyDeleteOh, please. What does this have to do with anything?
You're getting crazier with each passing day.
9:33: If you're defending the Montgomery County cartel, you are the one who is crazy. They have zero accomplishments in two decades in power.
DeleteThere is no such thing as "the Montgomery County cartel". That's just a figment of your overworked imagination.
Delete10:17: The campaign finance records and collusion during the elections prove otherwise.
DeleteYou've got nothing.
DeleteWhy don’t you just publish the records to prove your case?
DeleteYou just got bodyslammed. "Oh! Right into the buckle - that's gotta hurt, Gene."
DeletePiledriver! Off the top rope!

ReplyDeleteWell, WSSC is a bi-county agency, under the jurisdiction of Montgomery County and Prince George's County, and they are enforcing clean-water regulations against a business that was found to be out of compliance with said regulations.
So what exactly is the problem here?
