The progress on the South County Regional Recreation and Aquatic Center and Elizabeth Square appears to move at a glacial pace, even though the project is still on-target for a spring 2023 delivery. But aside from the blue and yellow treatment of the aquatic center facade, it looks very similar from the outside to its appearance in my last update in December. The public amenities will join Elizabeth House III and IV for a grand total of 907 new apartment units - some specifically for seniors - at the corner of 2nd and Apple Avenues in downtown Silver Spring.
