Another example of the Silver Springs Effect, the phenomenon of celebrities adding an extra "s" to the end of Silver Spring, has been recorded. Not surprisingly, it has occurred in a music-related setting again. The artists are less of a household name than Stevie Nicks or JoJo, but it's more likely their concert promoter who made the actual gaffe. A tweet promoting the summer tour of The Driver Era and Summer Salt lists a date at The Fillmore, which the poster declares is located in "Silver Springs, MD."
