The Eleanor has closed at Downtown Silver Spring. Citing "unprecedented challenges" and "tough times," the restaurant and entertainment center shuttered after just over three years in business. Their Washington, D.C. location remains open at this time, and the company says it will honor your Silver Spring gift and game cards there. Perhaps Dave & Buster's being so close by was too much competition from a much bigger venue, but it's sad they had to close now after beating the challenge of opening amidst COVID-19's arrival in America in 2020.
