Here's a look at the latest progress on the future Purple Line station at the Silver Spring Transit Center. You can see the platform taking shape, including the textured warning strip at the edge where trains will pull up to stop. No tracks have been laid down at the station yet. The Purple Line will have connections with Metrobus, Ride On bus, Metrorail, and MARC commuter rail service at this location.
