The Limerick Pub in Wheaton has vowed not to let snow ruin St. Patrick's Day this year, promising to  stay open and go forward with a full menu and full day of entertainment today:

Dennis Vaughn and Mark Walbridge will perform live from 2-6:30 PM, and Kieran Whelan will take over from 7:00 PM to close.

In downtown Silver Spring, live music begins at McGinty's Public House at noon with acoustic performers.

From 3-5:30 PM, Pete Moss and the Bog Band will be joined by Irish dancers from the Culkin School of Dance.

The Lloyd Dobler Effect was scheduled to play outdoors from 4-7 at the fountain, but its unclear how that will work out with the snow.

Damion Wolfe will play upstairs at 6:00 PM, with Brian Frank playing downstairs.

Thieves will close it out at McGinty's, starting at 9:00 PM.

There is a cover charge of $10 starting at 6 PM.
