First concrete pour completed at Wheaton Lot 13 project

The first concrete pour for the lowest underground garage level of a new Montgomery County government office building at Lot 13 has been completed. County officials says further pours for that level will continue over the next four weeks. 650 cubic yards of concrete were poured in the first pour. The building is expected to reach street level by the end of September.

  1. fingers crossed that things continue to go this smoothly - so far, the construction team has done a nice job. When is construction on the town square going to start?

    1. 10:06: Given that they are claiming a Summer 2019 delivery date for the town square, I would think they'll have to start pretty soon. Of course, the County isn't known for delivering projects on time...but they seem to have stayed on-schedule here so far, once the actual construction began.
