Lebanese Taverna moving to Taylor Gourmet space in Silver Spring, rebranded LebTav

We knew Lebanese Taverna was moving in downtown Silver Spring, and now we know where. It will reopen branded as LebTav in the vacant Taylor Gourmet space at 8535 Fenton Street. The chain is recalibrating to survive the moribund Montgomery County economy, and what the Restaurant Association of Maryland has described as "flat growth" of the County's dining sector compared to surrounding jurisdictions.

    This was reported elsewhere on February 21. LebTav also rebranded/shrunk their Annapolis restaraunt.

      The new location of the restaurant was most definitely not reported "elsewhere" on February 21. Do you know what a troll and a spammer is? Look in the mirror if you don't.

    There is big rendering in the windows of the vacant restaurant next door for "Eleanor" coming soon. Looking at the Web site for https://www.eleanordc.com/ it appears they could easily need the former Lebanese Taverna space, too. Great leasing catch by management.
