Ooh La La Bakery opening in Wheaton
A new French bakery is coming soon to Wheaton. Ooh La La Bakery is taking over the vacant Cricket Wireless store at 2600 University Boulevard West. The bakery promises authentic French bread and pastries.
Will this be a real french bakery? Most of the French bakeries in Wheaton are either Korean or Latin American bakeries with french names. Fresh baguette is the gold standard in MoCo for French bakeries
so what if its korean or latin? Are you insinuating cultural appropriation by these groups...cause if you are, then make sure you're applying it to the far greater number of instances the other way around.
How about, it's because a customer would like a croissant and when there is a French name with no French goods, that person just wasted their time. Are you insinuating a customer shouldn't get what they want?
We have a bakery called La Baguette de Paris on our section of University Boulevard. The amusing thing is that they don't serve any French goods, including baguettes.
This bakery will have competition from the Fresh Baguette bakeries in Bethesda and Rockville. Care to do a taste comparison Robert?

DeleteThis French bakery is one of the best, comparing favorably with the fine NY bakeries and Alon's in Atlanta. Elegant baked perfection!
