A temporary closure of northbound Dale Drive at Wayne Avenue in Silver Spring will begin on or about Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The closure is anticipated to continue through April 11. It is necessary to allow utility work related to the Purple Line to be completed. Watch for directional signage in the area during the closure.
What they aren't doing this a week later when the schools are on spring break I don't know. 94 buses turn up at the school each day. Even if they keep it open during bus drop off it will be chaos. Particularly as the signs say use Mansfield but that's still currently closed (it was supposed to be for a few weeks and that was four months ago).
