Here's a look at the current progress on the new Commas food hall at Ellsworth Place mall in downtown Silver Spring. The opening is years behind schedule, but the developer posted on May 12 that "we're almost ready to open our doors." Most everything appears to be in place, from seating to signage for the individual tenants. Up first when the doors open are 6 Skewers (Persian), C3 Bar (cocktails), Claude Have Mercy (seafood), J&J Mex-Taqueria, MoMo Hub (Nepalese), Tato's (potatoes), The Champ's Kitchen (Caribbean), and Tokoa Cheesesteaks." When the day comes, look for Commas on Level 3 of the mall.
