Wayne Avenue/Fenton Street intersection Purple Line update (Photos)

Here's a look at the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Fenton Street in downtown Silver Spring. This was a real mess a few weeks ago, with gravel and barricades all over the place, but the situation is much improved now. Yes, as you might have guessed, this is related to the construction of the Purple Line. The track beds for the light rail route that now run through the intersection have been made level with the pavement. Just two more years!
