A Dodge Ram pickup truck "ram"-med into La Frontera at Stoneymill Square at 4217 Randolph Road around 6:30 AM this morning. The driver was trapped in the cab, but was extricated by firefighters and transported as a trauma patient to a local hospital, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer.
There is damage to the building, and a building inspector has temporarily condemned the structure until the extent of the damage can be assessed. It is unknown how soon the restaurant will reopen, assuming the damage can be repaired.
