Silver Spring construction update: United Therapeutics Unisphere (Photos)
United Therapeutics' new Unisphere is rising over downtown Silver Spring. A 120000 SF expansion of the firm's downtown Silver Spring campus, the Unisphere expected to deliver this year. It will include a six-story office building, retail space, and a parking garage.
Super cool building. They are also simultaneously building a much smaller building at Spring & Cameron (northwest corner), in front of the medical townhomes. I can't find a picture of it anywhere but it's round, about 3-4 stories and has the same design language as the other structures. In other words, more coolness.

ReplyDeleteYep, that one was approved as a by-right development so it didn't have to go to the planning board for site plan approval.
