Bete Ethiopian Cuisine & Cafe has temporarily closed at 811 Roeder Road in downtown Silver Spring for renovations. The restaurant expects to reopen on July 1, 2023. Bete Ethiopian Cuisine & Cafe opened in 2009, and is known for its cozy dining room and efforts to closely follow Ethiopian culinary traditions. The Washington Post has called its cuisine "a true taste of Addis Ababa."
