MONTGOMERY COUNTY NAMES CONTRACTOR TO REDEVELOP BURTONSVILLE PARK AND RIDE LOT

Montgomery County has selected EDENS, a nationwide development firm, to redevelop the six-acre Park and Ride lot on US 29 in Burtonsville. The county says the yet-to-be-revealed project will be part of its controversial vision for the future of Burtonsville, a so-called "village center" that will include town-center-style residential density far from any Metro station. EDENS, coincidentally, also happens to own the adjacent Burtonsville Crossing shopping center.
