July 4 Wheaton assault has detectives seeking answers

A 25-year-old man was found laying in the street at the intersection of Judson Road and Henderson Avenue around 1:02 AM on July 4. Police responding to a 911 call located the man, who was suffering from life-threatening trauma to his upper body.

The victim remains hospitalized in critical condition as of the last update from police.

Detectives are asking for the public's help in the case. If you have any information, even a small detail, call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
