The alleged robber of the Silver Spring Shell gas station at 9510 Georgia Avenue on November 25 was caught on candid camera video. Montgomery County Police detectives now need your help to identify him.
Around 6:05 PM on November 25, the suspect entered the gas station and showed the clerk a handgun. He then demanded cash and Newport brand cigarettes. After the clerk filled the suspect's provided plastic bag, the suspect bolted out the door to the gas pump area. He displayed the handgun again, and forced a woman out of her 2008 black Scion xD, and fled in the vehicle.
Police say no one was hurt in the two incidents. Detectives also believe the suspect may have robbed a nearby BP station 3 times.
