Wheaton redevelopment getting started at Lot 13 (Photos)

Parking meters have been removed from the closed section of Public Parking Lot 13 in the Wheaton Triangle, and preparations for excavation are underway. A Montgomery County office building will be constructed here, and eventually a town square and connection to the Wheaton Metro station.

    1. Yes, it's going to be a County office building. Midcounty Services, Park & Planning, Recreation Department, among others, will move into the new building. I don't think the street number has been announced yet.

    1. To PG county. Wheaton has mall, metro and close to D.C. In few years it will be unaffordable. Wheaton now is early 2000s U street

    2. They can live in Bethesda and Potomac. Why concentrate poor, undereducated, and disadvataged people in one area. Having them in one place makes the area undesirable and makes them content with their status.
