Pizza Hut has changed its mind: it wants to be at Briggs Chaney Center in Silver Spring after all. One of the original, classic Pizza Hut design restaurants once operated at this shopping center at 13886 Old Columbia Pike, before closing and eventually being converted into the Popeyes restaurant there today. Now Pizza Hut has leased a vacant storefront at the center at 13884 Old Columbia Pike, and intends to open a smaller, takeout-oriented restaurant there.
