Residents around Plymouth Street are getting a temporary reprieve from rock blasting that had been planned to start yesterday. Purple Line Transit Partners said yesterday that contractors encountered unexpected rock conditions, and have postponed blasting until Monday, August 13. That blasting will occur between 5:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Residents will be given 24 hours notice of the blasts.
