Exterior maintenance at JCPenney at Wheaton Plaza

Here are some scenes of maintenance work I saw being done on the exterior of JCPenney at Wheaton Plaza. It's nice to still see the exterior accents on the building from when this was another iconic department store in the past, Woodward & Lothrop. Now if JCPenney would just bring back yet another icon: their famous Fox polo shirt. When I asked the corporate office, they told me they currently have no plans to bring back that elite country club staple of the 1980s.

  3. JCPenney shirts were "an elite country club staple" when you were just a wee Boomer?

Really, what "country club" was that? Perhaps you're thinking of the public golf course at Sligo Creek?

    1. 3:07: A real boomer calling a Gen Xer a "boomer" - LOL, ok boomer.

I understand that as a lifelong bum you are not familiar with country club attire. Fortunately your man David Moon is trying to run them all out of business, so you won't have to worry about it in a few years when they're all gone.
