The new tenant of a longtime nightclub building in Wheaton has found a higher purpose for the space. 11300 Georgia Avenue, on the edge of the Wheaton Triangle, will become a marijuana dispensary. Verilife will open its newest Maryland location here soon.
Workers have been busy inside the space over the last week. Residents and Georgia Avenue commuters likely recall that former tenants here over the years have included Wheaton Lounge, Irene's Sky Bar, and El Fogon de Wheaton. Verilife is anticipated to open before the end of the month.
