Here's a look at the progress of construction inside the once-and-future Fuddruckers at 819 Ellsworth Drive at Downtown Silver Spring. Now well past the once-planned fall 2024 opening, the burger restaurant is rounding into shape at last. Downtown Silver Spring is optimistic that the opening is not far away, as it is advertising Fuddruckers as "coming soon" on the Times Square screens of neighboring Ellsworth Place mall. "World's Greatest Hamburgers"? Pretty darn close, from my past memories of Fuddruckers.
