El Metate is coming soon to Wheaton. The Mexican restaurant will be located at 2302 Price Avenue, next to Dulcería Bombón. Signage has been installed above the storefront. El Metate had a liquor license hearing earlier this month. "El Metate brings the authentic flavors of Mexico to Wheaton through traditional recipes, handcrafted cocktails, and warm hospitality inspired by our rancho roots," the owners said in a statement provided on its Google business listing.
