Former Silver Spring Staples store to become FedEx Office and Massage Envy
The vacant Staples store at the corner of Georgia and Wayne Avenues, that more recently has hosted a pop-up Spirit Halloween store, is being subdivided into two tenant spaces by Peterson Companies. Half will be leased by a FedEx Office store, and the other part by Massage Envy.

It was an Office Depot, not a Staples.
ReplyDeletePretty boring, but I suppose the Fedex Office will serve a purpose as the location is surrounded by office buildings.
ReplyDeleteAre they planning on closing/relocating the current FedEx Office location on East West Highway?
ReplyDeleteObviously Fedex and Rite Aid have opened new locations based on the projected demolition of that shopping center (for PL and the subsequent Metro Plaza high rise redevelopment). The timeline of that demolition is still somewhat up in the air w/the Chevy Chase NIMBY lawsuit pending.
DeletePlease where may I read more about the "chevy chase nimby lawsuit"? Why does chevy chase care about a hotel on colesville@ e w hgwy that is clearly in Silver Spring?
