Silver Spring 7-Eleven bust turns up stolen car, guns, drugs

Montgomery County police officers at the 7-Eleven at 7980 Georgia Avenue in downtown Silver Spring observed a man and woman "rummaging through" a car in the parking lot. After running the tag number and registration, they determined the vehicle had been stolen from Franklin County, Virginia. The driver presented a fake driver's license to police. After calling in backup, police arrested Kevin Salisbury, 33, and Courtney Rucker, 28, both of Fairfax, Virginia, and charged them with crimes to include vehicle theft, firearm-related offenses, and possession of controlled dangerous substances (methamphetamine and heroin).
In addition to the meth and heroin, officers searching the vehicle recovered a loaded revolver, a rifle, a shotgun, and ammunition. They also found drug paraphernalia.

Salisbury and Rucker are being held in the County jail without bond.

    2. They are both from El Salvador and one has been charged in the past with multiple immigration violations but was still allowed to live in Gaithersburg completely free.
