Wheaton carjacking suspects arrested

Montgomery County police have arrested two suspects in the New Year's Eve armed carjacking that took place around 3:27 PM in the 11100 block of Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton. Officers located the stolen vehicle less than twenty minutes later, in the area of Columbia Pike and Greencastle Road. The two suspects were pulled over, and arrested without incident. A replica handgun was retrieved on the scene of the traffic stop.

The two suspects in custody are Eric Ebryma Jeng, age 24, of the 12900 block of Winterthur Lane in Silver Spring, and Tabatha Samantha Frampton, age 23, of the unit block of R Street, NE, Washington, DC.  Anyone who has additional information about this incident is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100.
