Montgomery County police responded to a report of a strong-arm rape at an apartment complex on the edge of downtown Silver Spring yesterday afternoon, September 12, 2021. The rape was reported in a storage/office area of an apartment building in the 1500 block of N. Falkland Lane at 5:37 PM on Sunday, according to crime data.
Isn't all rape by definition "strong-arm"? I've seen this term on your blogs, and absolutely nowhere else.
ReplyDeleteIt is a police-reporting terminology, which is supposed to conform to federal reporting standards. Essentially, they are indicating that a firearm, knife or other weapon was not employed.
