Residents of the Northwest Park neighborhood in Silver Spring who have a backyard shed may want to ensure the doors are locked, and backyards well-lit - - and under video surveillance, if possible. A shed burglar broke into at least three sheds in the 9300 block of Avenel Road between September 3 and 4, 2023. Montgomery County police who responded to the burglaries found signs of forced entry on two of the sheds.
