Montgomery County police have arrested and charged a suspect in the March 5, 2025 burglary of Express Check Cash & Laundry at 2303 University Boulevard W. in the Wheaton Manor Shopping Center. The burglary took place at 9:03 PM that evening. Officers arriving at the scene found evidence of forced entry at the business, and money was taken.
Anthony J. Harris, 27, of Silver Spring has been charged with felony 2nd-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, and theft of less than $100. According to Maryland court records, he is being held without bond. A preliminary hearing in the case has been scheduled for April 4 in Montgomery County District Court in Rockville.
