The latest armed carjacking in Silver Spring took place at a Montgomery County-operated downtown parking garage on Saturday afternoon, September 24, 2022. Montgomery County police responded to a report of a carjacking at the garage in the 8500 block of Cameron Street at 2:30 PM Saturday. That is the Cameron Street Public Parking Garage 7.
