Armed robbery in Aspen Hill apartment complex
Montgomery County police responded to a report of an armed robbery in Aspen Hill Monday afternoon. The robbery was reported at an apartment building in the 3500 block of Pear Tree Court around 2:15 PM. Crime data indicates a knife was the weapon used in the robbery.

Rape at Silver Spring hotel, strong-arm robbery and armed robbery in Aspen Hill, armed robbery in Wheaton
On the same day, at 8:45 AM, a victim was robbed at gunpoint in the street on Weeping Willow Court in Aspen Hill. The night before, at 11:11 PM, another person was the victim of a strong-arm robbery in a church parking lot on Aspen Hill Road. Minutes later, at 11:33 PM, an unspecified business on Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton was robbed at gunpoint.

Man accosts girl in Aspen Hill
A few minutes later, her daughter was on the phone and told police "nothing was taken, but a guy did attempt to approach her," according to the 911 dispatcher. "Subject ran off. We have no description," she added.
No further details on the Aspen Hill incident were available as of this writing.

Rockville teen charged in Aspen Hill stabbing
An officer saw Galindo fleeing the vicinity of the double stabbing, and caught him in the 14000 block of Grand Pre Road. The officer noticed Galindo’s pants were bloody, and found a knife on Galindo's person.
Galindo was charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of attempted first-degree murder, one count of armed robbery, and one count of robbery. He is being held without bond.
Police say their initial investigation suggests the altercation stemmed from a dispute over an earlier drug transaction. They have not yet announced any gang involvement in the incident. Previously, police had stated they were looking for as many as four suspects in the case.
Galindo's other alleged victim remains hospitalized in serious condition, according to police.

Aspen Hill stabbing now a homicide; manhunt underway for suspects still at-large
Upon arriving, officers found two Latino males who had been stabbed. One was suffering from life-threatening injuries, and later died at a local hospital. The other is still hospitalized.
Police say the motive for the savage assault is unclear, and that the suspects simply fled after the assault.
Detectives urge anyone who may have information regarding the suspect(s) in this homicide to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070. Attempted carjacking in Aspen Hill
Two suspects had approached the victim alongside the van. One of them pointed a handgun at him, and ordered him to hand over the van keys. The two suspects then proceeded to assault the victim, and ran off without taking the van. Police say the victim's injuries were non-life-threatening, but did require a trip to a local hospital.
The first suspect is described by police as a black male, 5’9” to 5’10’ tall, and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie over his face, and was armed with the handgun. There is no description of the second male suspect.

ASPEN HILL HOME INVASION
Just before 12:46 AM yesterday morning, March 21, two armed intruders invaded a home in the 13000 block of Freeland Road in Aspen Hill.
According to police, the suspects demanded money, and then shot a 14-year-old girl and a 55-year-old man. They then fled the scene.
Police describe the suspects as two white males, age 20-25, and say they may know the victims, who are recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.
