Silver Spring construction update: Core (Photos)

The facade of Core is beginning to take shape on the lowest levels of the 16-story mixed-use project at 8621 Georgia Avenue in downtown Silver Spring. Foulger-Pratt and Willco are the development partners on the project.

Core will contain 292 apartments and about 1500 SF of retail space. Given its location, it not surprisingly has a projected walk score of 95. The project is scheduled to deliver in Summer 2017.
