Silver Spring construction update: Unisphere (Photos)

The expansion of United Therapeutics' downtown Silver Spring campus, an addition dubbed the Unisphere, is well underway. Where a parking garage once stood at the intersection of Colesville Road and Spring Street, heavy equipment is making the final preparations for excavation and construction.

Included in the 120,000 SF expansion will be a six-story building, retail space and a replacement parking garage.
