Many readers have been asking about the return of Quarry House Tavern in their original location at 8401 Georgia Avenue, in downtown Silver Spring. Quarry House just posted a very brief update on Facebook assuring fans that progress is being made, but that there is no opening date to report yet. They were forced to move briefly to the old Piratz Tavern space, a short run that
ended this past February, after their original building was
heavily damaged in a 2015 fire.
