Police arrest suspect in White Oak Shell station homicide, find another body in his apartment

Montgomery County police have arrested a White Oak resident in yesterday's homicide at the Dash-in convenience store at the Shell station in the 11100 block of New Hampshire Avenue. When detectives searched the suspect's apartment at The Enclave, they discovered the body of an 8-months-pregnant woman, who they determined had been deceased for some time.

Torrey Moore, 31, has been charged with first degree murder and possession of a firearm while committing a felony in the Dash-in case. Police have identified the victim in that case as Dash-in employee Ayalew Wondimu, 61, of Silver Spring. Wondimu was found suffering from a gunshot wound at the gas station around 3:03 PM yesterday, and was eventually pronounced dead at the scene. Charges related to the female found deceased in Moore's apartment will be determined by the results of an autopsy, police said.
