Central residential development unveiled in Silver Spring (Photo)

Developer Grosvenor Americas unveiled its plan for a new development at 8455 Fenton Street on Wednesday. The mixed-use project will be known as Central. Central will include 243 residential units, including 31 affordable units, and 17,000 SF of ground floor retail space.

A new First Baptist Church will be built to replace the church building now being demolished, and a walkway between Wayne Avenue and Bonifant Street will be constructed.

Amenities will include an outdoor pool and lounge, 24-hour business center, yoga studio and rooftop deck and lounge. The architect will be SK&I Architectural Design Group.

Delivery is expected in the fall of 2017.
