Double shooting in Silver Spring, gunman still at large

Two victims were shot around 9:30 PM last night in the 900 block of University Boulevard East in Silver Spring, near Carroll Avenue. The gunman remains at large, according to police. He is described as a black male in his twenties, wearing a white t-shirt.

Montgomery County Police say they believe the gunman was an acquaintance of the victims, who are 40 and 25 years old. One victim had a gunshot wound to the abdomen, which police described as non-life-threatening. The second victim suffered a "minor gun shot wound" to his arm, but declined medical assistance, police said.
